(McAllen, Texas)-CHAOS on the court could be the best way to describe this year’s basketball playoffs. New enrollment changes were made after the University Interscholastic League realigned schools from throughout the state of Texas. Schools move up, some moved down. Student enrollments grew, some declined. (Hidalgo, Texas)-The 31-5A Mission Veterans Memorial High School (17-1) watched their unblemished record come to an end after losing to District 22-4A Houston Weatley 51-35 in the Hidalgo Pirate Basketball Classic on Saturday night at Hidalgo HS. (Pharr, Texas)-At the PSJA Natatorium, more than 200 swimmers competed in the annual PSJA ISD Tri-City Holiday Hustle 5A Invitational on December 12-13th.
